Bhuvidha Reddy is the talented interior designer and creative mind in Interior Design. She is currently based in Bangalore. She completed her master’s degree in interior design, complemented by a certificate in heritage evaluation and visitor survey from the University of Birmingham, England. Her academic background blends creative design with a thoughtful understanding of cultural heritage.
She began her journey in the world of technology, earning her undergraduate degree in computer science and working as a data analyst at Cognizant. But the constant rhythm of a 24/7 computer job soon made her realize that her true passion lay elsewhere. Drawn to the world of colors, furniture, and spatial storytelling, she transitioned into the field of design.

She pursued her master’s degree in interior design at JD School of Design, Bangalore, where her creative instincts found their calling. Her journey continued with Studio Chintala, one of the reputed architecture firms in Bangalore and Hyderabad, where she gained hands-on experience over two and a half years, both as an intern and a professional.
Today, she stands as the founder of Sun & Shadow, a name that reflects her philosophy that both ventilation and shade are essential in every home. The logo, depicting two figures, symbolizes her bond with each client, a promise that together, they’ll create not just beautiful spaces, but joyful ones too.
Believe in Lifting Others, Not Competing With Them
Sun & Shadow was officially started in April 2025, but unofficially they did many residential projects, mostly villas. As Sun & Shadow is not just a space for interior design, it’s also a platform built to share knowledge and experiences with aspiring designers.
Through her own journey, she realized how challenging it can be to navigate the design world without proper guidance. With no mentor to turn to at the start of her career, she is now committed to being that guiding light for others. Sun & Shadow aims to inspire, inform, and support young designers who are stepping into the field, offering them the insights she’s gathered along the way.
Bhuvidha doesn’t just dream big; she acts on it. Guided by kindness, passion, and a deep appreciation for life’s quiet details, she believes in lifting others as she grows. For her, success is a journey, not a destination. And she often reminds herself and others of this.
