The Design Journey: From Passion to Profession
Taher’s love for interiors began long before his formal education. As a teenager, he was already experimenting with spatial layouts, shifting furniture around and observing how lighting changed the vibe of his room. What started as a personal fascination soon evolved into a serious pursuit when he enrolled in the 3-year Diploma in Interior Designing at INIFD Jamnagar, one of the most internationally recognized institutes in design education.
After completing his first and second years, Taher interned at Design Studio, Jamnagar, in 2022. His on-the-ground learning didn’t stop there. Following his graduation in 2023, he continued working at the same firm for two more years, diving deep into real-world design challenges. During this time, he honed his skills in client communication, spatial planning, and creative visualization.
All thanks to his mentor who supported him and showed him the right way.

In October 2024, armed with experience, vision, and ambition, Taher took the bold step of launching Blank Space Studios with little more than a sketchbook and a stubborn dream. Blank Space Studios is now a growing interior design firm known for its client-focused design approach and modern aesthetics. Taher believes every space tells a story and that design should never be one-size-fits-all. His goal? To turn empty rooms into soulful, expressive environments that reflect the personality of their occupants.
Within just eight months of its launch, the firm has already successfully completed over 6 sites and is currently working on 8 more commercial and residential projects—a testament to Taher’s growing influence in the interior design community of Gujarat.
