Vinayak’s creative pursuit began with a Diploma in Interior Designing, where he discovered his innate ability to visualize spaces beyond walls and ceilings. His strong understanding of Vastu Shastra further enhanced his holistic approach to design, allowing him to create interiors that promote harmony, comfort, and well-being.
Guided by curiosity and a desire to deliver meaningful spaces, Vinayak developed a deep understanding of design principles, site execution, and client relationships – qualities that later became the foundation of his brand philosophy.
The Story of North Interior Spaces
The journey began in 2008, when Vinayak founded North Architects in Pune – a consultancy firm dedicated to architecture and interior design. What started as a small setup soon transformed into a trusted name in the design industry, completing over 214+ residential and 76+ commercial projects in less than a decade.
By 2020, after the global pandemic had reshaped the way people lived and worked, Vinayak embraced change. He undertook business training to refine his operations. He decided to transform the firm into a full-fledged turnkey interior design studio, handling everything from design concepts to on-site execution.
In 2021, he expanded the company’s presence with a dedicated office in Baner, Pune – marking a new chapter of growth and diversification into commercial interiors and Vastu consultation.
By 2023, his efforts had been recognized with multiple industry awards, including the ACE Gamechanger and four ACE Speculum Champion titles. With this recognition came a larger vision – and a new beginning. The firm relocated to a modern workspace in Aundh, reflecting its forward-thinking design philosophy and growing team strength.
In 2024, Vinayak launched his book, “Interior Design: A Pleasant Experience,” which was honored by the World Book of Records – London, making him one of the few Author-cum-Interior Designers in India. The following year, in 2025, his brand took on a new identity – North Interior Spaces, a symbol of innovation, integrity, and impeccable design execution.
