ID. Ruchika Ramchandra Padalkar is a product and interior designer in India. In just 29 years, she has worked on over 40 projects and has 10+ years of experience behind her.

An Unconventional Beginning
Ruchika comes from a family with a strong medical background; her journey into interior design might seem unexpected. But for her, it was always about standing out and expressing her creativity.
From a young age, she was drawn to the world of design. At first, fashion caught her eye, but she soon realized it felt limiting. It was in interior design that she truly found her passion. It gave her the freedom to shape spaces that are not only beautiful but also meaningful. Her simple interest grew into a deep love for how well-designed spaces can impact the way people feel and live.
Educational Foundation
In 2013, she graduated from Mumbai University with a diploma in interior design. After finishing a year at her first architect’s firm, she went freelance in 2014 to be closer to the real-world aspects of the profession. Her degree from Nashik University in 2015 helped her improve her technical skills further. Her interest in learning about small details encouraged her to get a master’s in product design from MIT ADT University, Pune, in 2017. It allowed her to understand every aspect of interiors and furniture design.
Launching Her Studio
In 2020, she started her “Ruchika Padalkar Interior & Design Studio” to give her customers nature-inspired spaces. She bases her design work on care, peacefulness, and a close link with her clients’ way of living. Her settings are beautiful and help people feel better after being there. Each design is uniquely made to give a tailored and lived-in feeling in every space.
