Sourabh Lengade, founder and proprietor of Beyond Vision Designs, this dream took root in Sangli, Maharashtra, and blossomed in Pune, where he now leads his growing design practice. Born into a family with no architectural lineage, Sourabh’s father, Dr. Charudatta Lengade, a doctor, and his mother, Dr. Sunita Lengade, a professor, shaped his journey into architecture entirely through passion and perseverance.
A graduate in architecture (First Class) from Shivaji University, Kolhapur, Sourabh also developed a keen interest in interior design, which eventually shaped his multidisciplinary approach. His beginnings were humble – taking on every opportunity that came his way, regardless of scale. “In the beginning, I never thought about whether a project was small or big. Every work taught me something valuable,” he reflects. It was this openness to learning and his willingness to engage deeply with clients’ thoughts and expectations that laid the foundation for his design philosophy.

Sourabh’s approach to architecture and interiors stems from his belief that design is not about imposing one’s ideas but about translating the client’s vision into a meaningful space. He often says, “While carrying out the site, I learned so much from the clients – their thoughts, their expectations. That’s where real creativity begins.”

An integral part of Sourabh’s journey is his collaboration with his elder sister, Mrs. Deepti Chopde, an interior designer with over 13 years of experience in Pune. Together, they share not just projects but also perspectives. “Working together brings us new experiences and happiness,” Sourabh says. “It makes our bond stronger and gives a sense of security as professionals and as siblings.”
Whenever he finds a moment of leisure, Sourabh turns to the autobiographies of renowned architects and designers. Their life stories, struggles, and achievements inspire him to continue evolving-reminding him that creativity is a continuous journey. Guided by the belief that “Experience is the truest teacher of human beings”, he continues to learn, adapt, and grow with every project.
